Alonso: 'Massa was perfect'
Fernando Alonso has insisted he was happy with qualifying for the Italian GP despite reports he described his Ferrari team as "idiots" after failing to collect a tow from team-mate Felipe Massa.In a dramatic finale to Saturday's shoot-out at Monza, Alonso was heard to lament that "Felipe is too far [ahead]" as the Ferrari's attempt to push their lead driver further up the grid by benefiting from his team-mate's aerodynamic tow spectacularly unravelled.
According to French television, Alonso was heard to castigate his team as "idiots" as he crossed the line, but the Spaniard himself insisted that he had no complaints with either Massa or his team's...
