Hamilton craving for fans' boos while Vettel spurns
It’s highly likely that the fans at the Italian Grand Prix will jeer at least one driver who makes it on the podium on Sunday. Ferrari fans, referred to as the tifosi, attend the race at Monza to support the legendary Italian team and are very rarely appreciative of the efforts of drivers who do not wear the scarlet overalls. Last year’s race winner Lewis Hamilton, then driving for McLaren, was greeted on the podium with boos from the crowds assembled at the track but the British driver is unfazed with a possibility of a repeat this weekend.
