Ricciardo most promising option - Newey

Red Bull chief technical officer Adrian Newey believes Daniel Ricciardo is the most promising young driver in Formula One. On Monday evening Red Bull announced Ricciardo would complete its driver line-up alongside Sebastian Vettel in 2014, putting an end to speculation of a high-profile signing such as Kimi Raikkonen. Newey said the team's management had come to the conclusion that a younger driver would be a better proposition than an experienced one and that Ricciardo was the best of the bunch currently racing in F1.
