Final Rush clips released ahead of world premiere
Ahead of tonight's world premiere, the final few clips previewing ‘Rush' have been released by Studio Canal.
The film – directed by Ron Howard (Frost/Nixon) profiles the titanic battle between James Hunt and Niki Lauda during the 1976 Formula One season, with their rivalry being one of the fiercest the sport has ever known. In the championship, Lauda appeared to be on course for a second consecutive title, only for a huge accident at the German Grand Prix to so nearly claim his life. Remarkably, the Austrian driver returned just two races later, setting the scene for a tense finish between himself and Hunt in the final few rounds of the season.
