Di Resta aiming for Q3 appearance

Paul di Resta believes that his Force India team have made a step up in pace since the Hungarian Grand Prix, the Briton having recorded top ten finishes in both of Friday’s practice sessions in Belgium. The Silverstone-based squad has historically performed well at the Ardenne venue, with Giancarlo Fisichella clinching second at the 2009 event. Having recorded a time good enough for second in morning practice, di Resta explained that the fast, flowing nature of Spa-Francorchamps was always going to suit the Mercedes-engined outfit as compared the twisty nature of the Hungaroring. “Conditions were mixed this morning, but it was much better this afternoon,” said the 27 year-old....
