Kovalainen gets more FP1 runs for Caterham

Caterham reserve driver Heikki Kovalainen will take part in the opening free practice sessions at Spa-Francorchamps and Monza, the Leafield-based outfit has confirmed. At this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix, the Finn will drive Charles Pic's car for the first 90-minute session, before team-mate Giedo van der Garde steps aside in Italy. Kovalainen, who lost his race seat with Caterham at the end of last year, returned to the team as a reserve in April and has made FP1 appearances in Bahrain and Spain.
