Schumacher confirmed for Race of Champions

Seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher will participate in this year’s Race of Champions, with the 44 year-old German the first name to be confirmed for the 2013 edition. Schumacher, who retired from Formula 1 for a second time at the end of last year, won ten races out of ten alongside compatriot Sebastian Vettel en route to his sixth consecutive Nations Cup victory in 2012. The past sixth years have also seen him secure the title of ‘Champion of Champions’ on two occasions.
