Van der Garde: New tyres suit my style

Giedo van der Garde says he the new structure of Pirelli tyres, introduced at the Hungarian Grand Prix, are more receptive to his style of driving. Van der Garde achieved his best finish of fourteenth place and believes the tyres have given him a boost. 'It was nice to have a break and chill out a little bit and I enjoyed it. I didn’t have so much rest, only three days off, and then I start training again. Now I’m ready for the second half of the season,' he told F1Zone.net in Rotterdam, where he demonstrated a Caterham CT03. 'I think the tyres will help me a bit more now. We’ve already saw it in Hungary that it went better. I’m very happy with that result which was a good boost....
