Sirotkin to start Sauber programme
Sergey Sirotkin will begin his development programme with Sauber next week ahead of a planned race seat in 2014. Part of the package which came with Russian investment in to Sauber was that Sirotkin would be one of the team's race drivers next season despite the 17-year-old's lack of experience. Sauber said it would prepare Sirotkin for the role, with Monisha Kaltenborn confirming in Hungary that one of the aims was for him to secure a superlicence; the lack of which is currently preventing him from taking part in Friday practice sessions.
