Brawn: 20 races per year a 'sensible limit'
Mercedes team principal Ross Brawn has warned that it would be a mistake to have more than 20 F1 races per season.The current campaign is being contest over 19 grands prix after the decision was taken to delay the proposed event in New Jersey.The New Jersey race is slated to join the calendar next year though, after a twelve month delay, while Russia is also set host an F1 event for the first time at the new circuit being build in Sochi. With Austria returning – and India dropping off the schedule – that could mean there will be 21 races, assuming all of the other events in 2013 are retained, and Brawn reckons that could be problematic.“Twenty races is pretty challenging for the...
