Mercedes reveals sound of turbo V6 engine

Mercedes-Benz has released the first audio of its turbocharged V6 engine, which will be used under the new technical regulations from the 2014 season. The clip, published on Mercedes' official YouTube page, features audio from a full dyno test bed lap of the Monza circuit, mixed with footage from the outfit's simulator. Following Renault's brief sample earlier in the year, the German marque offers the greatest preview yet as to the noise of the controversial new powerplants.
