Cyril Abiteboul satisfied with Caterham progress

Caterham team principal Cyril Abiteboul has described his satisfaction with his team’s progress over the course of the 2013 Formula 1 season. The Leafield-based team had struggled to make significant process from 2012, with the evolutionary Caterham CT03 lagging behind the Marussia’s of Jules Bianchi and Max Chilton in the opening races of the season. However, the return of former race driver Heikki Kovalainen to a consultancy role within the team, coupled with Caterham’s rate of development compared to its fellow backmarkers, have allowed the Renault-powered outfit to fight evenly with Marussia, with a Caterham driver finishing ahead of a Marussia counterpart in each of the last...
