F1 2013 – Raikkonen offered Ferrari seat for 2014
Despite Lotus and Red Bull stating an interest in Kimi Raikkonen for next season, a report from sport bild claims that Ferrari have offered Kimi Raikkonen a seat for the 2014 Formula One season. The report suggests that Red Bull’s offer is a $15 million retainer, including sponsorship of his motocross team and performance related bonuses.Raikkonen first joined Ferrari in 2007 when he went on to win the world drivers title and left the team at the end of 2009.Sport Bild correspondents Nicola Pohl and Helmut Uhl have reported that Ferrari “has made the Finn an offer” claiming that the offer is “more lucrative” than an offer reportedly made to Raikkonen by Red Bull.
