Hamilton hits half-time historic high in Hungary
The temperature was rising for all in attendance of the 28th running of the Hungarian GP, where 70 laps would see just who would be going into the summer break ahead of all the rest. The 4.381km track had already seen temperatures around the high 30s for qualifying, as the sun was beaming down on the track, with the racing set to get underway in the vicinity of the capital, Budapest. This was just after the circuit was announced as having extended its contract with FOM until 2022, keeping another European track on the F1 calendar, and saw Lewis Hamilton pick up his first race win for Mercedes AMG Petronas, ahead of an action packed duel between Lotus GP's Kimi Raikkonen and Infiniti Red...
