Concorde deal awaits final approval

The saga of the 2013 Concorde Agreement is drawing to a close after FOM and the FIA reached an agreement for its implementation. This year's Championship got underway without a Concorde Agreement, the deal that governs the running of Formula One, in place. And after months of being told that a new Agreement is on the horizon, a document has now been signed and the deal should be in place "in the coming weeks." "The Formula 1 Group and the FIA have signed an agreement setting out the framework for implementation of the 2013 Concorde Agreement," read the statement.
