Button happier with improved understanding

McLaren had reason to be satisfied on Friday after they enjoyed their best practice session of the season, with Jenson Button posting the sixth quickest time during FP1 and Sergio Perez ninth. Whilst the pair fell further down the field during second practice, Button took comfort from the fact they looked somewhat more competitive than at recent races. "The two sessions were quite a contrast for us because of the difference in temperature from the morning to the afternoon – but it's been a reasonable day in terms of the set-up work we've done.
