October 4 release date for new F1 game
F1 2013, the latest Formula 1 game by Codemasters, has been given a release date of October 4. It will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC. To mark the announcement, the game developer has published an onboard lap of the Hungaroring, the location for this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix. Daniel Ricciardo is the featured driver, with narration from ex-Formula 1 driver Anthony Davidson. F1 2013 includes a new game mode entitled F1 Classics, allowing the player to race cars from the 1980s and 1990s – depending on the version purchased. Legendary commentator Murray Walker has provided the commentary for this part of the game.
