Alonso: Beating Seb is vital
Fernando Alonso admits it is essential that he beats Sebastian Vettel at this weekend's Hungarian GP and narrows the deficit ahead of the summer break.
The double World Champion, who has not won a race since May's Spanish Grand Prix, arrived in Budapest with a 34-point deficit to Vettel in the Championship race.
And although there are still ten races go to, including this weekend's event, Alonso admits pulling back some points in Hungary is vital from a morale point of view.
"A good result is important," said the Spaniard.
"It's important because there is the summer break after this race and it would be good for the motivation of the team and good for our hopes if we can...
