Teams to discuss minimum pitstop time

Teams are set to discuss the idea of a minimum pitstop time in a pre-race meeting before the Hungarian Grand Prix on Thursday evening. The meeting will discuss the possibility of introducing a minimum stationary time to reduce the likelihood of human error, which can lead to incidents such as those seen at the German Grand Prix. The FIA have already moved to increase safety in the pitlane after the incident at the Nurburgring, in which a loose wheel from Mark Webber’s Red Bull struck a FOM cameraman.
