Minimum pit-stop time to be discussed

The idea of a minimum pit-stop time is expected to be discussed by Formula 1 team bosses during a pre-race meeting at the Hungaroring circuit on Thursday evening. Following the pit lane incident at the German Grand Prix in which an FOM cameraman was struck by a loose wheel from Mark Webber's Red Bull, the FIA has moved to tighten pit lane restrictions, with further ways of improving safety being evaluated. As well as clearing up question marks over the number of personnel permitted in the pit lane and who will be required to wear head protection, teams are to look at the possibility of enforcing a minimum stationary time in a bid to reduce human errors.
