Austrian GP coming back to F1 in 2014
VIENNA, Austria, July 23, 2013 (AFP) - Formula One will return to Austria in July 2014 after an 11-year break, F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone and Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz said Tuesday. The two men "have reached an agreement that Formula One will return to the (Austria region) Styria already next year, to the Red Bull Ring at Spielberg," a joint statement said. The energy drink company, headed by Austrian billionaire and F1 team owner Mateschitz, stunned the formula one world with the news that was delivered via a brief statement early on Tuesday.
