Formula 1 set to face high temperatures in Hungary
By Editor on Monday, July 22, 2013 Formula 1 teams will face one of the hottest races in history this weekend in Hungary.
With most of Western and Central Europe in the grip of a heatwave, ambient temperatures in Budapest on Sunday are set to peak at 39*c/102*F.
Formula 1 has only raced in such high temperatures on three other occasions: the 1955 Argentine Grand Prix, the 1984 Dallas Grand Prix and the Bahrain Grand Prix of 2005.
