Turvey hopeful of step forward for Mclaren

Mclaren development driver Oliver Turvey is hopeful that the Woking based team can take a step forward after an encouraging second day of the Young Driver Test at Silverstone. Turvey, who was given his first opportunity at the wheel of the Mclaren MP4-28 completed 98 laps over the course of the day, with a time of 1.33.864 that was good enough to be fifth fastest overall. The 26-year-old said: “It was a really busy day given we tested lots of things on the car. Hopefully it will help us to improve our understanding.
