CVC to monitor developments in Ecclestone bribery case 18 July, 2013 Bernie Ecclestone with Gerhard Gribkowsky and Donald Mackenzie of CVC Capital Partners at the 2006 Bahrain GP Bernie Ecclestone's bosses have revealed that they will monitor ongoing developments in the German corruption affair involving the F1 supremo. On Wednesday, it emerged that the Formula 1 chief executive has finally been served with bribery charges relating to the 82-year-old's $44 million payment to jailed banker Gerhard Gribkowsky years ago.
