Magnussen: I feel ready for Formula 1

McLaren youngster Kevin Magnussen says he "feels ready" to make the step up to Formula 1 after his latest test appearance for the team at Silverstone on Wednesday. The Dane, making his second Young Driver Test appearance, topped the timesheets at the Northamptonshire venue and completed 100 valuable laps. His best effort of 1:33.602, set on Medium tyres, put him just ahead of Force India's Paul di Resta. "We have to see where we are, I feel ready for Formula 1," Magnussen explained to reporters in the Silverstone paddock. "I have a championship to do in World Series by Renault so I'm really focusing on that and when I'm finished in I'll see where I am." The...
