Red Bull gaffe leaves Webber out of Silverstone test

Mark Webber was left out of the young driver test after Red Bull apparently misinterpreted the FIA’s directive that allowed race drivers to run for one of the three scheduled days at Silverstone. The Australian driver was originally listed to drive on the second day but Red Bull had also lined up Sebastian Vettel and Toro Rosso’s Daniel Ricciardo for the test, with the three on roster to drive for half a day each. This meant that the champions would be running for a day and a half with current race drivers.
