Sirotkin's father compares son to Raikkonen 16 July, 2013 Sergey Sirotkin Sergey Sirotkin's father, who is part of a consortium which secured Sauber's future, has played down suggestions the teenager is too young to make his Formula 1 debut later this year. It is reported that, off the back of the ailing Swiss team's rescue deal in the form of partnerships with various Russian entities, 17-year-old Sirotkin will make practice appearances in 2013, ahead of his full race debut next season. Sirotkin's father, Oleg, is at the helm of one of Sauber's new saviour partners.
