Sauber confirm Hulkenberg, Frijns and Sato for Silverstone test

Sauber has confirmed their driver line-up for next week’s Silverstone young driver test, which will feature a combination of experienced race drivers and rising stars behind the wheel of the Swiss outfit’s Ferrari-powered C32 machine. Nico Hulkenberg will be joined by reserve driver Robin Frijns, along with Japanese rising star Kimiya Sato. The Hinwil-based outfit’s reserve driver Robin Frijns will get proceedings underway on the opening day of the three-day event, with the Dutchman also scheduled to complete the morning period of the second day before ceding driving duties to main race driver Nico Hulkenberg who will get behind the wheel of the C32 during the afternoon period.
