'A step in the right direction' for McLaren - Whitmarsh

McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh says the team made "a step in the right direction" at the German Grand Prix. After two races without scoring a point, McLaren scored with both cars at the Nurburgring last weekend as Jenson Button finished sixth and Sergio Perez eighth. With the improved competitiveness - Button finished the race a second behind pole-sitter Lewis Hamilton - Whitmarsh said it was encouraging to see progress but that he isn't getting carried away.
