Vergne and Ricciardo to test at Silverstone
Jean-Eric Vergne and Daniel Ricciardo will both be in action for Scuderia Toro Rosso during the three-day test at Silverstone from July 17-19. Vergne confirmed the news today in his latest blog on the official Toro Rosso website, although he added that the team’s exact schedule for next week has still to be finalised. “I hope that we will get some answers [during that test],” Vergne wrote, “particularly in regard to what to expect from the revised Pirelli tyres, which is what us race drivers will work on. “We’re getting 2013 compounds built on 2012 constructions, so it will be interesting to see how we handle those.” Meanwhile, Vergne has reiterated how disappointed he was...
