Ecclestone no longer wants Nuerburgring

Just two days after telling Die Welt newspaper that he was considering buying the struggling Nuerburgring racing track, Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone told another paper that he is no longer interested. "I thought about it and it is not practical for me," the octogenarian is quoted in Rhein-Zeitung in an article made available ahead of publication on Monday. He added that he hoped somebody would buy the track, "as we enjoy being here." The German Grand Prix alternates between the Nuerburgring and Hockenheim on a yearly basis, with Sunday's race taking place on the Nuerburgring. Germany's biggest automobile club, ADAC, is said to be considering buying the track....
