Hamilton 'overwhelmed' by pole position
Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton says he is "overwhelmed" to have secured pole position for Sunday’s German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring, the Briton bouncing back from set-up issues during the second and third practice sessions of the weekend. Hamilton, who wound up over a second behind team-mate Nico Rosberg in final practice, praised his team for making a number of changes ahead of the qualifying hour, during which he beat Sebastian Vettel to the top spot by one tenth of a second.
