FIA bans inverted mounting and low pressures

The FIA has issued a ban on inverted tyre mounting and has put in place minimum tyre pressures and cambers to stop teams from misusing them. Pirelli wrote to the FIA asking them to enforce strict rules to ensure a repeat of what happened at Silverstone is avoided. A technical notice issued to the teams on Friday morning states: "For safety reasons, we have been asked by Pirelli to ensure that the tyres on all cars are run under the conditions listed below. "It will be the responsibility of each team to satisfy the FIA technical delegate that the cars comply with the following requirements at all times."
