Vettel calm over home record

Sebastian Vettel insists the fact he has yet to win the German GP isn't something that is playing on his mind ahead of his sixth attempt to win his home race this weekend. Curiously, the triple World Champion's home event is one of only three on the current calendar he has yet to claim a victory at, with the German also never having won at any point of the month of July either. But asked about both statistics in Thursday's pre-event Press Conference, Vettel, who turned 26 on Wednesday, suggested he would have plenty more opportunities to left to put things right.
