Maldonado keen to go a step better in Germany
Williams driver Pastor Maldonado has set his sights on breaking into the top-ten at the German Grand Prix this weekend. Maldonado came close to opening his – and the team’s – account for 2013 at Silverstone last Sunday, but ultimately had to settle for eleventh, 1.4 seconds behind the Sauber of Nico Hülkenberg. Despite that disappointment, however, the Venezuelan, is hopeful the ‘Ring will suit his Williams. “I just missed out on a points finish at Silverstone and will be looking to go a step better in this race,” he confirmed. “Although the Nürburgring layout has changed recently and lost some of its old character, it’s still a pretty fast and flowing track which I tend...
