Hamilton: Tyres still a concern

Lewis Hamilton has said he still has ‘concerns’ about the tyres, despite the changes made by Pirelli ahead of this weekend’s German Grand Prix. Hamilton looked strong at Silverstone last Sunday and in the early stages was leading until he suffered a high speed failure on the left rear. The Englishman was the first of four drivers to be affected by the issue and while he believes the ‘right steps’ have been taken for the event at the Nurburgring, he remains cautious. “I am satisfied but only when we get there [Germany] will we have a better idea how it is for us,” the Mercedes star told British newspaper, Metro. “Everyone is in the same boat but I’m glad action has been...
