FIA to allow race drivers at Silverstone test

Governing body the FIA has confirmed changes to the format of this month's Young Driver Test at Silverstone, with race drivers being cleared to take part. The decision follows a spate of tyre failures suffered at the British Grand Prix. Multiple left-rear blow-outs were experienced during Sunday's race, while cuts were discovered on a number of tyres, including those of ultimate winner Nico Rosberg. This led to safety concerns being raised, with the FIA vowing to find a quick solution.
