Silverstone: Kerbs not to blame for blow-outs
Silverstone organisers have shunned claims that the circuit's kerbs could have played a role in the dramatic sequence of tyre failures suffered at the British Grand Prix. Four drivers were hit with left-rear blow-outs during Sunday afternoon's race, including early leader Lewis Hamilton, prompting sole tyre supplier Pirelli to launch a full-scale investigation at its Milan headquarters in a bid to uncover the root cause of the issue.
