Rosberg hails British Grand Prix victory 'very special'

Nico Rosberg has shared his delight at taking victory in this afternoon's British Grand Prix. The German managed to stay out of trouble and control the lead in the final stages despite pressure from Mark Webber to win the race. It was a day of contrasting fortunes for team-mate Lewis Hamilton who suffered a puncture early on before recovering to fourth place. Rosberg inherited the lead from Vettel after the Red Bull suffered a gearbox issue. However he showed strong form throughout and proved that Mercedes have made steps forward in their race pace.
