Content Alonso urges Ferrari progress

Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso has been left with mixed feelings following his podium finish in the British Grand Prix, admitting that although the result is “very good” for his championship standing, Ferrari needs to improve if he is to remain in the title hunt. The Spaniard, who started from ninth after Paul di Resta's qualifying exclusion, carved his way through the field during an action-packed race, ultimately stealing the final podium position away from Lotus driver Kimi Räikkönen on the penultimate lap.
