Rosberg shines at Silverstone as Vettel grinds to a halt

The sun was shining brightly down on Silverstone, as 52 laps of the 5.961km track saw Nico Rosberg secure an emphatic second victory of the season at the “Home of British Motor Racing,” as the expectant crowds were in flocking in their droves in the region of 120,000 for what was to be a spectacular and dramatic race in the Northamptonshire countryside on a Sunday afternoon. Red Bull Racing's Mark Webber made a great comeback in his last race at Silverstone for the team securing second place, with Fernando Alonso rounding out the final place on the podium.
