Alonso: Worst qualifying day of the season

 Fernando Alonso says a below par qualifying performance for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone brought to an end the "worst Saturday of the season" for Ferrari. The Spaniard, who failed to find a comfortable car balance throughout practice, had to settle for tenth position in the final shootout phase, while team-mate Felipe Massa was eliminated from Q2 after struggling to recover from his Friday accident. "This weekend has been complicated for us by problems that we haven’t managed to get on top of, concerning various aspects such as the balance of the car, its driveability and performance," said Alonso. "We can consider this the worst Saturday of the season...
