Rosberg tops productive second practice session
After the rather uneventful and wet 90 minutes of running in first practice for the British Grand Prix, the second session kicked off in slightly drier conditions and with a better chance of getting some dry running in. Just 11 drivers set a lap time in FP1 which left many with plenty to do, Rosberg emerging as the leader during the session.
Triple world champion Sebastian Vettel was the first car to emerge from the pit lane with team-mate Mark Webber following close behind – the Aussie did a practice start before joining the circuit.
