Van der Garde set for Rotterdam demo

Caterham driver Giedo van der Garde will attend the annual Rotterdam City Racing event during the Formula 1 summer break, the Leafield-based team has confirmed. Taking place on August 18, a week before the Belgian Grand Prix, van der Garde is set to complete demo runs on the streets of the Dutch city in a modern Formula 1 car. "Last year was my Formula 1 debut at Rotterdam City Racing and it was a unique experience," said van der Garde. "To put on a demonstration in front of half a million visitors was a dream come true, and I promise to give a little bit extra this year!"
