Montreal chasing ten-year deal

Canadian GP promoter Francois Dumontier is eager to sign a long-term deal with Bernie Ecclestone, committing both parties with ten years. The contract to host the Canadian Grand Prix expires at the end of next season, however, already talks about a new deal have begun. Dumontier recently met with F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone and Quebec Premier Pauline Marois to discuss a new deal. "We are presently discussing an extension from 2015 to 2024, so ten years," Dumontier told NF1. "That is the longest agreement that has ever been proposed to us.
