Hembery confident of Pirelli future

Paul Hembery, the Pirelli boss, is confident that the tyre manufacturer will remain in Formula One past this season. The Italian manufacturer has come under heavy criticism about its role in the controversial 1000km tyre test with Mercedes after the Spanish Grand Prix as well as their tyre selection for the next three races, with Lotus in particular unhappy about the 'hard' rubber that will be used in Britain, Germany and Hungary.
