Brawn to represent Mercedes

Mercedes confirmed on Tuesday that Ross Brawn will represent the team at the FIA International Tribunal which meets on Thursday to decide whether the Brackley-based outfit had contravened the sport's rules during an unscheduled tyre test. Motorsport chief Toto Wolff and supervisory board chief Niki Lauda will not go the Paris, however. Mercedes conducted the tyre tested at Pirelli's request after the Spanish Grand Prix in May, but Ferrari and Red Bull lodged complaints with the FIA after it was revealed that Mercedes used their 2013 car and regular drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.
