Button: Hamilton has not lost his speed

Jenson Button has backed former team-mate Lewis Hamilton to "shock" the paddock with his pace once he is completely comfortable at new outfit Mercedes, explaining that it is difficult for any driver to make an impact amid setup issues. Having joined the Silver Arrows at the end of 2012, Hamilton has so far struggled to match fellow Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg's one-lap performances, taking one pole position compared to the German's three amid minor problems under braking. However, when asked about the situation in an interview with Auto Motor und Sport, McLaren's Button said it is only a matter of time before Hamilton is back to his best.
