GPI Illustrated #75 16 June, 2013 Sadly the 2013 Canadian Grand Prix will always be remembered for the tragic death of Formula 1 ‘super-fan’ and long time marshal at the Montreal race. He was one of us, a fan whose passion took him tot he frontline of the sport, namely providing safety to the super-star drivers. Mark died in the line of duty, for this we salute him and extend our sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
Action on the Ile Notre Dame, during the course of the weekend, was influenced by the fickleness of the weather which only really came good on the Sunday of the race.
