Vettel extends contract with Red Bull

Red Bull on Tuesday evening announced that it has extended reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel's contract until the end of the 2015 season. Vettel, who has picked up the past three world titles with the team, signed a deal through 2014 back in March 2011, but will now stay onboard for at least another year. Vettel joined Red Bull from Toro Rosso in 2009, giving the team its first victory at that year's Chinese Grand Prix. Since then, the 25-year-old has achieved 29 victories, 51 podiums and 39 pole positions, becoming the youngest World Champion in 2010.
